How banded hours work

A block of hours drawn down against work agreed in advance, for requests that are real but too small to scope individually. Each request is estimated before it starts, and the estimate is recorded against the block.

Banded hours suit portals that are already operational and need maintenance rather than change. Work that alters the object model is scoped as a project, because an hour spent on a lifecycle change is not comparable to an hour spent on a report.

What the block does not cover

Hours are not a retainer. There is no standing allocation and no guaranteed response window. A portal that needs a predictable response should be on a retainer instead.

Remaining hours are visible in the client portal, so the balance is a fact rather than a question.

What happens after purchase?
Stripe collects payment and issues a receipt, then a kickoff is scheduled to confirm scope and access. The purchase can be attached to a client portal account, where the engagement, its documents and its remaining scope stay visible.
