How a build is specified

The specification is written before anything is configured, and the build is verified against it before release. A build with no written specification cannot be verified, only demonstrated. A demonstration proves that something works, not that it does what was agreed.

For integration work the specification records a system of record per field, an identity rule for matching records across systems, and a stated conflict policy for the cases where both sides can write. Most integration failures are a missing decision at one of those three points, not a technical fault.

What acceptance means

Each item in the specification carries an acceptance test that can be run by the client rather than described by the supplier. Release happens when those tests pass.

The specification is handed over with the build. It is the document that makes the configuration maintainable by somebody who was not present when it was made.

What is needed before the work starts?
Access appropriate to the work, and a named person who can decide what a field or a stage is meant to mean. The second is the harder requirement. Most delays are a decision waiting on an owner rather than work waiting on access.
Can Integration Build be expedited?
Yes. Expediting shortens the delivery estimate and carries a surcharge, both shown on this page before purchase. The surcharge pays for sequencing the work ahead of other scheduled engagements. Nobody works faster.
What happens after purchase?
Stripe collects payment and issues a receipt, then a kickoff is scheduled to confirm scope and access. The purchase can be attached to a client portal account, where the engagement, its documents and its remaining scope stay visible.
