HubSpot Revenue Hub and RevCPQ together cover most of what a company buys NetSuite for on the revenue side: quoting, costing and margin, contracts, subscriptions, billing, invoicing and payments, with inventory as the one large gap. The combination runs inside the CRM the sales team already uses, goes live in weeks rather than months, and costs a fraction of NetSuite's licence and implementation.

Disclosure. RevCPQ is owned by Paul Maxwell, the founder of RevOps HQ and the author of this article. RevOps Connect, named below, is also a RevOps HQ product, and RevOps HQ is a HubSpot Solutions Partner. The recommendation here should be read with those interests in view.

This article sets out what each product does, compares them capability by capability, prices both, and states which businesses each fits. The wider platform question, NetSuite's own CRM against a separate one, is covered in HubSpot vs NetSuite.

The Recommendation: Revenue Hub with RevCPQ

Revenue Hub runs quotes, tiered and ramp pricing, contracts with amendments and renewals, subscriptions, invoices and payments natively in HubSpot. RevCPQ adds the layer Revenue Hub does not have: product costing, so every quote shows real cost and margin before it goes out, plus guided selling, usage-based pricing, and co-terming and proration. Both sync with HubSpot in both directions, so sales, finance and service work from one record.

RevCPQ offers HubSpot customers a plan at $29 per user a month.

Revenue Hub, RevCPQ and NetSuite Defined

HubSpot Revenue Hub is quote-to-cash inside HubSpot Smart CRM, renamed from Commerce Hub in June 2026. It covers quotes with approvals and e-signature, products priced flat or tiered with volume, graduated or stair-step pricing and ramp pricing on quotes, contracts created from accepted quotes that can be amended through change quotes and renewed, subscription billing, invoices, and card and ACH payments. HubSpot calls Revenue Hub "the evolution of Commerce Hub" on its product page. Invoices, subscriptions and payment links run on the free tools, while quoting and contracts need a paid Revenue Seat; the edition and seat each feature needs are set out in HubSpot Revenue Hub. The ledger stays outside it: HubSpot's end-to-end revenue guide sends accounting to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite.

RevCPQ is a CPQ and contract lifecycle product built for HubSpot. It adds product costing and live margin on every quote, guided selling, usage-based pricing, a multi-line quote builder with version history, and co-terming and proration across contract changes. It is listed on its site as a HubSpot certified app with a two-way sync.

Oracle NetSuite is a cloud ERP: general ledger, payables and receivables, revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, and inventory, manufacturing and warehouse modules, with a basic CRM included. Every user who interacts with it needs a user licence, and Oracle publishes no price for any licence type.

Revenue Hub and RevCPQ Against NetSuite, Capability by Capability

Capability coverage of HubSpot Revenue Hub with RevCPQ against NetSuiteA grid of twelve capabilities. Revenue Hub covers CRM, marketing and service, quotes and approvals, tiered and ramp pricing, contracts with amendments and renewals, subscription billing and invoicing, and card and ACH payments natively. RevCPQ adds guided selling, costing and margin on quotes, usage-based pricing, and co-terming and proration. The general ledger stays in QuickBooks or Xero, and inventory, manufacturing and warehouse are not covered. NetSuite covers most rows natively or through its SuiteBilling and other modules, has a basic CRM, needs an add-on or partner for guided selling, and takes payments through a processor.CAPABILITYRevenue Hub with RevCPQNetSuiteCRM, marketing and serviceNative HubSpot: open the documentationNative HubSpot ↗Basic CRMQuotes and approvalsRevenue Hub: open the documentationRevenue Hub ↗Native estimatesTiered and ramp pricingRevenue Hub: open the documentationRevenue Hub ↗NativeContracts, amendments, renewalsRevenue Hub: open the documentationRevenue Hub ↗NativeSubscription billing and invoicingRevenue Hub: open the documentationRevenue Hub ↗NativeCard and ACH paymentsRevenue Hub: open the documentationRevenue Hub ↗Through a processorGuided sellingRevCPQ: open the documentationRevCPQ ↗Add-on or partnerCosting and margin on quotesRevCPQ: open the documentationRevCPQ ↗NativeUsage-based pricingRevCPQ: open the documentationRevCPQ ↗SuiteBilling moduleCo-terming and prorationRevCPQ: open the documentationRevCPQ ↗SuiteBilling moduleGeneral ledger, revenue recognitionQuickBooks or XeroNativeInventory, manufacturing, warehouseNot coveredModulesNativeSupplied by RevCPQPartial, add-on, partner or processorHeld in QuickBooks or XeroNot coveredA chip marked ↗ opens the vendor documentation for that capability.

Everything above the ledger row in the table is front-office revenue work, and the HubSpot pair covers it inside the system the sales team already works in. The ledger and inventory rows are back-office systems of record, and only NetSuite holds them.

Costs of Revenue Hub, RevCPQ and NetSuite

Revenue Hub is priced per seat. HubSpot's Product and Services Catalog listed the Revenue Seat at $95 a month on Professional and $140 on Enterprise in September 2026, the pricing page showed $85 for a Professional seat paid annually, and new Sales Hub customers paying annually were offered seats at $57 and $98. Only the users who create quotes and contracts need a Revenue Seat, and RevCPQ adds $29 per user a month for HubSpot customers.

Oracle does not publish NetSuite prices. A third-party guide, reviewed in September 2026, puts the base licence at $999 a month plus $129 to $199 per user a month, with modules priced on top and implementation at $25,000 to more than $500,000 depending on scope. The same guide reports year-two renewal increases of 5 to 15 percent as typical, and all of these are estimates, because every NetSuite contract is negotiated.

The sample below makes the difference concrete. It is sample data and describes no client: a company already on HubSpot Sales Hub, with three users who create quotes and two in finance, priced at catalog Professional seat prices and the low end of the NetSuite estimate. Revenue Hub with RevCPQ needs three Revenue Seats, $3,420 for the year, and three RevCPQ users, $1,044, a total of $4,464. NetSuite needs the base licence, $11,988, and five user licences, $7,740, a total of $19,728 before any module or implementation.

Revenue Hub with RevCPQ costs $4,464 in year one: $3,420 for three Revenue Seats at $95 a month and $1,044 for three RevCPQ users at $29 a month each. NetSuite costs at least $19,728: $11,988 for the base licence at $999 a month and $7,740 for five user licences at $129 a month, the low end of a third-party estimate. Implementation is not drawn: NetSuite is estimated at $25,000 or more; the HubSpot pair is a fixed-fee onboarding.YEAR-ONE SOFTWARE COST, SAMPLE DATARevenue Hub with RevCPQ3 Revenue Seats and 3 RevCPQ usersRevenue Seats $3,420RevCPQ $1,044$4,464NetSuiteBase licence and 5 user licencesBase licence $11,988User licences $7,740$19,728Implementation, not drawn: NetSuite from $25,000 to more than $500,000 (third-party estimate).Revenue Hub with RevCPQ: fixed-fee onboarding, quoted per scope.

Implementation follows the same split. A Revenue Hub and RevCPQ setup is fixed-fee onboarding measured in weeks, because the CRM, the products and the users already exist in HubSpot. A NetSuite implementation is an ERP project, scoped in months, with a partner configuring the ledger, the subsidiaries and each module.

Strengths and Limits of Each

Revenue Hub with RevCPQ keeps one record from first touch to paid invoice. Sales representatives never leave HubSpot, so adoption stays high and the data stays clean. Costing and margin appear on every quote, so a discount is made against the margin it consumes rather than the list price. The pair handles tiers, ramps, usage, amendments, co-terming and renewals, and it goes live in weeks at a far lower total cost with no multi-year commitment.

Its limits are specific: it manages no inventory, manufacturing or warehouse, and it is not a general ledger: the books stay in QuickBooks or Xero. Some Revenue Hub contract features remain in beta, including the connected chain in which an accepted quote creates the contract, its billing schedule and each invoice. HubSpot payments is available to businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

NetSuite is a full financial system of record, with the general ledger, revenue recognition and consolidation in one place. It runs inventory, manufacturing and warehouse operations, and it is built for multi-entity, multi-currency companies. Its limits fall on the front office: it is expensive and slow to implement, its costs climb at renewal, its CRM is one sales teams tend to work around, its marketing automation is thin, and most changes need a NetSuite consultant.

Which Businesses Each Fits

Choosing between Revenue Hub with RevCPQ, NetSuite, or both connectedFirst question: does the business hold inventory, manufacture or run warehouses? If yes, the outcome is both systems connected, with sales, quoting and billing in HubSpot and inventory in NetSuite, joined by RevOps Connect. If no, second question: does it need multi-entity consolidation or a ledger beyond QuickBooks or Xero? If yes, NetSuite holds the ledger and the front office stays in HubSpot. If no, Revenue Hub with RevCPQ covers quoting, margin, contracts, billing and payments, with the books in QuickBooks or Xero.WHICH ARRANGEMENT FITSDoes the business hold inventory, manufacture, or run warehouses?Does it need multi-entity consolidationor a ledger beyond QuickBooks or Xero?NoYesNoYesRevenue Hub with RevCPQQuoting, margin, contracts, billing and payments in HubSpot;books in QuickBooks or XeroNetSuite as the ledgerConsolidation and the generalledger in NetSuite; the frontoffice stays in HubSpotBoth, connectedSales, quoting and billing inHubSpot; inventory in NetSuite;joined by RevOps Connect

Revenue Hub with RevCPQ fits services, SaaS, subscription and configure-to-order businesses whose constraint is quoting, margin control, billing and collection. That describes a company evaluating NetSuite for revenue reasons rather than for inventory or consolidation.

NetSuite fits a company that must manage physical inventory, manufacturing or multi-entity accounting in one ERP.

Both, connected, fits a company that needs NetSuite for inventory but wants sales, quoting and billing in HubSpot. RevOps HQ connects the two through RevOps Connect, its managed integration layer, so nothing is entered twice. How the boundary between the two systems is drawn, object by object, is covered in HubSpot NetSuite integration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can HubSpot Revenue Hub Replace NetSuite?

For the revenue side, largely yes: quoting, tiered and ramp pricing, contracts with amendments and renewals, subscriptions, billing, invoicing and payments run in Revenue Hub, with RevCPQ adding costing, margin, guided selling and usage-based pricing. It does not replace NetSuite as a general ledger or for inventory, manufacturing and warehouse management.

Is There a RevCPQ Price for HubSpot Customers?

Yes: RevCPQ offers HubSpot customers a plan at $29 per user a month. RevCPQ is owned by Paul Maxwell, the founder of RevOps HQ.

Which System Holds the Ledger Without NetSuite?

QuickBooks Online or Xero holds it, synced with HubSpot, so Revenue Hub creates and collects the invoices and the accounting system records them.
